About Us

Maharana Pratap Private I.T.I. is situated at district – Narsinghpur, district is situated in the central part of Madhya Pradesh. Industrial Training Institute (ITI’s) are training institute which provide training in technical field in India. Normally a person who has passed 10 standard (SSLC) is eligible for admission to ITI. The objective of opening of ITI is provide technical manpower to industries and to enhance the technical skills of trainees. These persons are trained in basic skills required to do jobs of say operator or a craftsman. The course in ITI is designed in way to impart basic skill in the trade specified. People of engineering trade can go for higher studies like diploma in engineering. There are also specialized short term courses in Advanced Training Institute (ATI) which enhances the skills of candidates. ITI qualified persons can do jobs in elctricity board ,BHEL,NTPC,Ordannce Factory , Railway , Metro rail , industries and set up their own , motor/generator/transformer winding shops .

The main objective is to impact technical training to the inmates of the orphanage in order to solve the problems of rehabilitation and help the needy youth as far as possible to learn a trade to attain a better standard of life.

The campus has a pollution free and green environment with architecturally designed building suitable for smooth and interference free Training activities. The workshops are spacious and equipped with state-of-art Machinery, Equipments, Instruments and Tools complying the NCVT standards.

Placement & Career Guidance

The Training & Placement Office, Maharana Pratap Private I.T.I. Contain facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students. The office liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc which conduct campus interviews and select students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics.

The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 10 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. The industries which approach the institute come under the purview of: Core Engineering industries IT & IT enabled services Manufacturing Industries Consultancy Firms Finance Companies Management Organisations R & D laboratories The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of July through to March. Pre-Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Office. The Placement Office is assisted by a committee comprising representatives of students from different trades. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Students members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions.

In any Production system, the major technical population is occupied by the workmen. Quality of product is mostly governed by the skill, sincerity and devotion of this workforce since quality, as I believe, is an achievement and not an inheritance. Skill can be sharpened by technical sense, attitude, and training with strict work culture and discipline.

In the sense of huge industrial growth, expected in near future, there will be a need of such workforce without whom no industry can truly survive.

With a strong motivation and responsibility to fulfill a portion of such demand of trained workforce for the industry, Rahul Foundation has added yet another feather in the cap by introducing Gouri Devi Industrial Training Centre. The vision of GDITC to empower by imparting vocational training with employability skills to provide trained manpower to industries.

I hope, my endeavour will help and inspire people towards self employment via micro enterprise, thus joining the nation for sustainable growth.

Procedure of Admission

(a. By percentage of Marks in qualifying Exam. b. Written Test c. Interview d. Any other)

1. The admission for different trades will be announced through news paper media and local TV.
2. A register will be maintained of all phone calls and personal enquires about admissions.
3. The faculties will conduct interviews and written test. After that first list of selected candidates will be displayed and cutoff date will be announced.
4. After cutoff of first list second list will be released. If necessary 3rd and 4th will be continued.
